Dear Class of 2014,
The five of us are incredibly honored to serve as our class’ Senior Gift co-chairs. Being a part of the campaign has caused us each to reflect about how our individual Harvard experiences have been made possible because of Harvard’s generous community of students, alumni, and friends. Our Senior Gift contributions directly benefit the Harvard College Fund and the college’s ability to provide immediate-use funding for programs such as financial aid, advising, residential life, athletics, and even, Wi-Fi. Personally, we know that all of us have uniquely benefited from what Harvard has to offer and we are excited for our opportunity to become part of this alumni tradition of giving back.
Throughout our time as Harvard College students, we have all chosen unique paths that have helped us create unique experiences. With each year that has gone by, we have chosen our classes, our concentration, our blockmates, our extracurriculars. We make choices based on our own priorities and have been able to carve out a Harvard life that is purely our own. No two Harvard seniors are alike, and yet, we are all members of the Harvard College Class of 2014. We each hold a unique piece of the Harvard College experience, but together, we are the class of 2014.
We are still looking for volunteers for our campaign, so if you would like to join our class’ efforts or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at: gift@harvard14.org.
