Q: When is our 5th Reunion?
A: Reunion will Thursday, May 30-Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Q: I’m not getting emails about Reunion. How do I get on the list?
A: The first step is to confirm that your email preferences are configured correctly in your alumni profile at alumni.harvard.edu. Once you log in, you’ll want to check: a) that your email address is up to date, and b) that under My Profile (left-hand side) > Email Preferences > Harvard College, the box for Reunion emails is checked off. When you’ve done this — or if everything seems to be in order, but you haven’t received emails — please email the Reunion team at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm that you are set to receive future messages.
Q: How much does Reunion registration cost?
A: Attendees can opt to purchase a full package registration or individual event tickets for the specific events they plan to attend. A registration fee of $25 applies to all orders. Please note that there are three pricing tiers: early bird rates are available through May 1, standard rates through May 20, and all purchases after May 20 are considered walk-in registration.
Here is a breakdown of Reunion registration costs:
- Early bird rate: $295
- Standard rate: $430
- Walk-in rate: $550
Individual event tickets:
- Thursday: $50 (early bird) / $70 (standard) / $90 (walk-in)
- Friday AM: $15 (early bird) / $35 (standard) / $55 (walk-in)
- Friday PM: $80 (early bird) / $100 (standard) / $120 (walk-in)
- Saturday AM: $40 (early bird) / $60 (standard) / $80 (walk-in)
- Saturday PM: $95 (early bird) / $115 (standard) / $135 (walk-in)
- Sunday: $30 (early bird) / $50 (standard) / $70 (walk-in)
Guest registration adheres to the same pricing breakdown, minus the $25 registration fee. Attendees will also have the option of adding meals and events to their registration on-site.
Q: How will I get my tickets?
A: All tickets necessary for reunion events will be issued to you when you check in at Reunion headquarters. For events that are not individually ticketed, your name badge will serve as your ticket (so please wear your badge throughout Reunion!).
Q: Are there any events outside Reunion programming that require separate tickets?
A: If you would like to attend Commencement on May 29, tickets are required for both the Morning Exercises and the Afternoon Program and will be available at headquarters on Wednesday and Thursday (May 29 and 30) only. Due to space limitations, only Reunion alumni will be issued tickets to the Morning Exercises in Tercentenary Theatre. For more information and to request tickets, please click here.
Q: Where do people stay for Reunion?
A: Reunion attendees can choose to find their own local accommodations (hotels, Airbnb, etc.) or register for optional on-campus housing. On-campus housing will be in the Quad and will cost $100/night per person. You can request on-campus housing when you complete the Reunion registration form. We encourage you to choose the accommodation option best suited to your needs and budget.
Q: Is financial assistance available?
A: We are committed to accessibility for our class and hope to have as many classmates attend Reunion as possible, while recognizing that ticket sales cover all event staffing, tents, food and beverage charges, and security costs associated with making our Reunion happen. The Class of 2014 has generated a limited pool of funds to support classmates to attend reunion but may require financial assistance to do so. The class has the ability to support classmates, but not guests. To apply for financial assistance, please submit a brief note to the 5th Reunion inbox by emailing email@example.com by May 1. In your note, please briefly explain your situation and request for funds. These notes will be read privately by HAA staff, not classmates, and will be kept entirely confidential. Please note that funds are limited and requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis for as long as funds are available.
Q: Will there be Reunion swag?
A: Yes! We will be opening up our Reunion store soon. Stay tuned! Reunion attendees will also receive a generous discount on purchases made at the COOP during Reunion weekend, so be sure to bring your Reunion name badge with you if you decide to shop during Reunion.
Q: Will transportation be provided during Reunion?
A: Yes, transportation is provided for all events. Shuttle service will be available to and from all major events, including meals, the Memorial Service, and reunion symposia. Individuals with limited mobility should make arrangements at headquarters for transportation in Reunion vans, including a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Q: When will my Class Report arrive?
A: Class Reports are shipping now, and should hit your mailboxes very soon!
Q: I have more questions. Where can I find additional information?
A: The Harvard Reunions site is the best place to find answers to all your Reunion related questions. You are also welcome to contact the 5th Reunion team at the Harvard Alumni Association by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 617-496-7001, which is a dedicated line for Reunion-specific inquiries.
